There were a lot of things I like about my computer class this year. Well first of I really liked the fact that it was really easy to use the computer in this class. I like how we learned about the important parts of the computer how it is made, how to upgrade a computer and so on. I liked how we were able to have free time at the end of the class. I also liked how Mr. Haymore made it easy for everyone to learn how to use a computer. The environment in his class was very warming and welcoming. This is my favorite classes in the semester.
There are only a few things I didn't like about this class. Well for starters, I didn't like the fact that we had to write about how we felt on our blog. I feel like that should be personal and no one else should know about that. I didn't like how we had to write about a post every time we stepped in the classroom.
I don't have any recommendations for improving the class. I just feel you should give a little more free time that is all.
The highlight foe me in this class was when I was able to finish the online scavenger hunt. Mr. Haymore assigned us a scavenger hunt to do on thee computer and we had look for people, their job description, where they are located and so on. The scavenger hunt was pretty difficult and I was glad that was able to finish it on time.
I felt I did my best effort in everything that Mr. Haymore assigned to us. The one thing that really sticks out to me is the online scavenger hunt we did. The scavenger hunt was really difficlut and i was glad that was able to finish it.
I am reading and writing in my life planning goals journal.
i am commited into being a CTR person and seeking personal development.

- Think things through
- Listen to your intuition
- Learn from setbacks
Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. the people who are most creative ask the most questions."
Creativity is the process of bringing something new into being. Creativity requires passion and commitment. Creativity involves two processes: thinking then producing.
Key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history."
Consideration is kindness and thoughtful regard for others, or an act of thoughtfulness. Treating others as you have them treat you.
Key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."
"Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you'll do something you do it..."
Key 8: Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment . The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."
"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."
Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
The quality of mind and spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain without fear.
Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again."
Reflection
Write a final all-encompassing reflection about the 10 keys to Personal Power.
1) How can they benefit you?
2) Which keys are you applying now, and what difference are they making in your life?
3) How will you incorporate the other keys into your Life Planning plans?
The 10 keys is very important and will help me throughout my career and throughout my future. The keys that I am applying right now is key 8 which is commitment. I am using commitment throughout my education and my sports career. I will incorporate the other keys in my life Planning plans by reading them every morning and every night before bed. I will use commitment 9 and 10 which is confidence and courage. I will use confidence when I am presenting and courage to speak in front of a lot of people.

Today we are learning about the 7 habits of highly effective people in my computer class. So this week I am very excited. For starters my favorite basketball team the Oklahoma City Thunder played the Los Angeles Clippers last night and won. My team is the only team in the Western Conference to be undefeated. Today is a special day because y team OKC Thunder play against the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena. This game will be very special because Kevin Durant (ex member of the OKC Thunder) is on the Warriors and left OKC after they blew a 3-1 lead in last years Western Conference Finals. He joined them and left his supposedly brother Westbrook alone just to win a championship. This game will be one for the ages and I hope my team can stay undefeated. I hope Westbrook goes off with a triple double. This weekend my Giants play and I am real excited because I love football and I always hope for the best for my Giants because I know their special. hnj
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I'm in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will."(Jack Welch)
'When you know where you intend to end up, you know where you are now."(Covey)
Habit 3: Put First Things First

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal."
Habit 5: Seek first to understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe"
Habit 6: Synergize
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"

Today I feel tired, slleepy, and drowsy. Today is also Monday and I don't know why but every Monday I alwasy feel sleepy and tired. Over the weekend it was preety good. For starters on Saturday I went to go to wrok with my dad, After working with him for the day, I earned a little bit of money and I was excited for that. Also, I like working with my dad. On Sunday I was a bit excited more than Saturday because my favorite football team the New York Giants were early in the morning against the Los Angeles Rams in London. I got up early to watch the game. My team got the win over the LA Rams and to me that is agreat way tom start off the day. During the day I had a soccer game that I was excited for. Me and my soccer team won that game and that was another good way to start the day. Durinb the afternoon we had a family barbecue and all my cousins and ucles came to my house and we ended the night there. I am real excited for the upcoming football game because it is our homecoming game. I can't wait for that day to come. I am also excited for today's football game because it is the Houston Texans vs the Denver Broncos. This game is going to be good because Brock Osweiler QB of the Texans left Denver after they won the Super Bowl last year for money. He could have been the starting QB for the defending champs because Peyton Manning retired and they needed a QB. ,l,.l.l.ll.

Today I feel kind of exhausted because of all the homework I stayed up doing last night. I am slso kind of excited for today and tomorrow. First today I get leave school early because I have a doctor appointment and also I don't have homework. I am excited for tomorrow because for starters there is no school tomorrow and we have our first scrimmage game with the high school team. Tomorrow we play Warren high school. It's my first soccer scrimmage game with the high school varsity team for this year. This also means that the season is getting close and I can't wait for it to come.
Six Ways to Make People Like You
Rule 1:Become genuinely interested in other people
1. "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2. "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3. "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."
Rule 2: Smile
1. "Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2. "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3. "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."
In order for people to start liking you, you have to smile. Smiling is the best way to make people interested in you. The importance of smiling can't be understand. Walking up to a stranger with a sincere smile on your face instantly warms the situation and makes you look approachable. It sets a positive tone for the interaction and demonstrates that your a nice, amicable person. As an added bonus, the mere act of smiling tricks your brain into releasing chemicals that make you feel happier. That way you''ll both enter the conversation happier and friendlier and you'll seem more likeable from both ends. Smiling makes the person feel less worried about because you'll seem more friendlier. Smiling is also they key to life. If you don't smile at the job you have then you won't be successful. Smile so that people notice you different. People will say that you are always happy because you smile. They will start liking if you approach them with a smile.
Rule 3: Remember Names
1. "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2. "If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
1. "If you aspire to be a good coversationalists, be an attentive listener."
2. "Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and his wants and his problems than he is in you and your problems.
Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest.
Rule 6: Make the other person feel important-and do it sincerely.
"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." (John Devey) "Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic.
Final Reflection:
In order for people to like me, I will do these six ways listed by Dale Carnegie. This six ways are the gateway for people to like you. For me the most important ones and the ones I'll imply the most is to become more interest in the person than myself, smile, and remember their names. Every time I approach someone new I will make sure I smile so the person doesn't feel scared. A smile shows that you are friendlier and more approachable. The next important way for me to make people like me is to become genuinely interested in others. Doing this will show that you are trying to get to know that person and make a new friend. Lastly, for people to like, I would make sure I remember their names. By remembering their names this will show to the person that I payed attention.

Over eekend I felt kind of drowsy and let down. Forst of, I felt drowsy because the whole weekend I was sick. I had a sore throat, fever, headaches, and a runny nose. I felt weak. Also, I felt let dwon because my favorite football team (New York Giants) were winning through the first three quraters of the game and in the last quarter gave up the win easily to the other team. I know my team could have won that game and after that I felt let down. Also, I was kind of happy on Monday because I didn't go to school, som I stayed home. I was also sad that day cause I was sick and that was the reason I didn't go to school. The foruth attitude of high achievers I apply everyday because i am not afraid to fail. I kow that if I fail I am one stop in reaching my goal and become successful. Without failure you won't be successful. Today I feel happy because I am going to buy a new video gtame today and i am excited. Also I am going to be excited on Friday because the high school soccer team tryouts are Friday and I know that means the season is getting closer and closer. This week I feel excited, sad, weak, and grateful. I am happy that my car is running great and thanking god it hasn't gave any problems to me.

Peak Performance Principles
"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"
John R. Noe
"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"
High Achievers........
1.Make no small Plans
"Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will not die."-Daniel H. Burnham. If you ever want to be successful in life, never make small plans. Always try to make big plans because the smaller your dream, you'll realize that's all you can do. Making bigger plans will show your will to thrive and never take no for an answer. Set big goals for yourself and you willl see that your goals will and can be accomplished through the hard work you put in. Risk more, stretch more, and make more mistakes. Remember the cautious never reach new shores or climb big mountains. If there wasn't the possibility of failing, then the thrill of victory would be missing. All of us have in our heart the image of the person we can be and the life we can live.
2. Do What They Fear
People all around, even your family, fear everyhting that they dislike. But the one thing people fear, is someone less fortunate becoming more successful than them. They fear being overthrown. You shouldn't fear what they fear. You go and fight to become successful. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't become successful because that means they fear you. Strive for greatness. People fear of losing their power over us. prove them wrong. Go to school and become successful. Show them you are not afraid of the obstacles that will come your way. Show you will fight through the obstacles in order to become sucessful. People fear what they don't understand and they don't understand how someone less fortunate can become successful. Do what they fear. Do what they think is wrong and out of balnce. Strive for greatness and do what they fear.
3. Are willing to prepare
4. Are willing to risk failure
"What does failure teach us?" Does failure chip away at our frasgile egos and lessen our chances of ultimate success? Is it satan who cause our failures or is it god who always wants us to win? Researcgers how us that the average entrepreneurs fail an average of 3.8 times before they finally make it ina business venture. They recognize that three steps forward and two steps backward still have a net result of one step of progress. If you can decide to se your own failures as a necessary part of your progress, you will seperate yourself from the average person and put yourself in the category of potential high achiever. "Many of life's failures are people who do not realize how close they were to success when tnhey gave up."-Thomas Edison. Most people try to avoid failure like a bad disease. They cring at prospect and may stay in a safe but unchallenging position, an unfilling job, a familiar but boring career, at the bottom hill as others master the peak. "Failure is the opportuntiy to begin again more intelligently>"-Henry Ford. Embrace failure as legitimate step in the right direction. See it as a stepping stone toward the success you want.
5. Are teachable
To be teachable means that you have the mindset of a life long learner. Louis armstrong once said, "There are some people that if they don't know, you can't teach them. Some people want to be right, even when they aren't." And as a reslut, life is difficult for them. They will never find the pathway of learning nor do they learn from the lessons life offers to those with a teachable spirit. Teachability is a choice. We choose whether we are open or closed to new ideas, new expirences, other's ideas, people's feedback, and willingness to change. If you want to know your a teachable person, here are some traits: 1. Teachable people have an attitude conductive to learning, 2. Teachable possess a beginner mindset, 3. Teachable people take long hard looks in the mirro, 4. Teachable people encourages others to speak into their lives, and 5. Teachable people learn something new everyday. Being teachable will help you increase your chance of reaching your goal. Losing creates teachable moments, because you learn from the mistakes and you let it happen again. If you want to be a quality athlete you have to have a teachable spirit. athletes want to learn and improve everyday. They bring enthusiasm for continuous improvement every day. They know that correction happens because acoach sees potential in them to get better. The non-athlete looks at any correction as criticism, and often responds with an excuse. Be teachable so you can be successful in life.
6. Have heart
The last attitude of high achievers is to have heart. What it means to have heart is to be passionate. Don't be boring or dull but be passionate. "To be successful you have to have your heart in your business and your bussiness in your heart," Thomas Watson Sr. This quote is explaining how in order to be successful in life, you have to be passionate in what your doing. If your not passionate in what your doing you want have the fire or the passion to be able to succeed. You have to put your heart out in whatever job or sport your doing if you want achieve greatness. You could stay a dull, boring guy cause you didn't pursue your passion. Passion fuels confidence. a person with passion typically exudes confidence, and confidence creates value for themselves and others by leading the way, not showing the way. Passion creates excitement. Excitement is something that can be shared and creates orgtanized value, not disarray. Passion is contagious. when your passionate, you make everyone else around you feel excited and everyone wins. You are viewed as great mentor and passion creates group dynamics & value.
Reflection:
These six attitudes of high achievers are the way that leads to success. The six attitudes are 1.Make no small plans, 2. do what they fear, 3. are willing to prepare, 4. are willing to risk failure, 5. are teachable, 6. have heart. If you ever want to be successful in life, you have to follow these attitudes one by one. I know I have started following these attitude. I made sure that every goal I have in life it is not something small, but something big. In order to be successful you have dream big and you will get big results. Next I made sure that I do what everyone fears or what is not correct. If you do what everyone fears, they will hate on you and this will fuel to reach your even more. After that I made sured I am prepared for what is to come when trying to achieve my goal. Next I made sure that failure is bound to come your way when trying to achieve your goal and I made sure I prepared for so I could bounce even harder. After that, you have to be teachable. What that means is you have to learn from your mistakes and be able to surpass them. Finally have heart. If you don't love whatever your trying to do, then stop doing it. The only way you'll ever be successful if your passionate whatever your doing and you want to keep on doing it for the rest of your life. These six attitudes are the key to success.

Way to Be
9 Ways to be Happy and Make Something of your Life
1. Be Graceful
Some people in this world don't even what grateful means or how to express themselves being grateful. Gratitude is the quality of being and showing appreciation. It is a mindful acknowledgment of all that we have been given. When we focus on the abundance in our lives, we discover a greater capacity of generosity, cheerfulness, and contentment. It often takes tragedy to wake us up, to reevaluate our lives and appreciate what we have. The reason why this has to happen is because you instantly become prioritized and realize what matters the most and what you care about and anything not essential is ignored. When one is grateful, they appreciate what they have and don't ask for more. In this life I am grateful for having both of my parents alive and healthy. Some people don't even have their parents with them and I am grateful that I have my parents. Be grateful for what you have and you'll end up having more. Each day I am grateful for nights that turn into mornings, friends that turn into family, and dreams that turn into reality. Expressing gracefulness is a rewarding habit that affirms the grace of the giver. Gracefulness opens our heart, encourages us to savor each gift that comes our way, and magically frees us from jealousy guarding our possessions.

Being humble doesn't mean that you are nice to everyone or you care about everyone else. To be humble means to be modest, not proud or to be courteously respectful. 8. Be Still
Everytime I hear the phrase be still, I think about the famous phrase in the Bible of Psalms 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God." Sometimes though I ask myself what does it really mean to be still and what I need to do to make that happen. As i searched up what it means to be still, I found great synonyms that will help define what it means to be still to you. One of the synonyms that I found was still(means to be free from noise or turbulence; untroubled). Another synonym is calm(a period or condition of freedom from stars). This doesn't mean that storm is no longer around you, it means that the storm is longer within in you. another synonym is to be peaceful(untroubled by conflict). we allow the anger and frustrations from those trials to push us into violence. "Be still and know that I am god" is not just a saying, it's a state oof being. It is the ability to know god well enough to trust his abilities to rescue you.
9. Be prayerful
Reflection:
"There they are, nine. Be's which, observed, will nring handsome dividends to any young man or women. They will add sparkle to your days and peace to your nights. They will save you from heartache and pain. They will bring purpose into your life and give direction to your energies.
They will bring you friends of your own kind. They will protect you from associations that would pull you down and deflect you from your course.
This is a time to be happy. This is a time to feel joy and make friends and enjoy the best this life has to effect. What I have tried to put fourth....are simply a few suggestions, gained from many years of living, to help you do just that. The world will tell that certain kinds of things will bring you happiness-things such as popularity and possessions and satisfying your baser desires.
If today you find yourself only dribbling as a leaf in a stream, get bold of yourself and determine you will do better.
At railroad grade crossing, signs of warning were once common. Two cross arms were embazzled with the words"stop, look, listen." They meant that a train could be nearing down the tracks and had better be alert.
I was riding a train in the midwest years ago. I looked out the window to my left. A road man parallel to the tracks. A car with a boy and a girl was speeding down the road a little faster than the train. the car moved ahead until I can no longer seem it. Suddenly, the locomotives whistle sounded and the train screeched to a hault as the brakes gripped the wheels. swe looked out the window on to the other side. there was a mangled car. Police cars soon converged, followed by the ambulance. The boy and girl were both dead. The road they were traveling crossed the tracks. They did not stop, look, listen. It all happened in an instant.
The better way to be is the way of these nine Be's.
The years inervitably pass, and pass quickly. Today is your day of resolution. Promise yourself to make something, good of (your) precious life.
